From Woz on the IWM



I read the question on CSA2 posted about the IWM yesterday and
wrote Woz on it.  FWIW -- his full reply follows below:

Sorry, I don't know the answer. I'm not up on the Smartport protocols, but
there's
some chance that the IWM could be used for this, due to the fact that it is
basically
a small state machine controlling a serial to parallel shift register.
