This was a good post but I thought I'd mention the three possible
places that line feeds can be added just for clarity and because one
was missed above.
1) The software you are using might have an option to send a line feed
after a carriage return.
2) Your printer interface card may be set with either jumpers or
through an initialization string to add a line feed after a carriage
return.
3) Your printer can be set with either jumpers or through an
initialization string to add a line feed after a carriage return.
If you get too many of these points adding line feeds to your print
out the print out will end up being at least double spaced.
