We dug out an old Mac LC 575, from maybe 1994. Its running system
8.?, I think. Reading the GS/OS manual, it said to format a 800k
floppy as "800k 4:1" to make it mac-readable. Well it mighta been
2:1, but the point is, whatever it said, I did. The Mac LC would then
compalain it couldn't read the disk, and would I like to initialize
it? If I did initialze it on the Mac, GS/OS then couldn't read it.
Maybe I need an older version of Mac OS?

Cool! Wish I'd known that back in the day!

Now I have a prodos-format 5.25". If I could just get the dang dos
3.3 format files from dos 3.3 to the prodos disk. GS/OS refuses to
read dos 3.3 format disks, it seems.
