Try holding down the Option and Open-Apple (Command) keys.  Then turn
on the computer.  Then release the 2 keys after about 5 seconds.  It
will go through a self-test.  At the end of the test (1 or 2 minutes)
it may say System Okay, or it may give some kind of an error code such
as 0A000001.  Post this code and someone may be able to tell you what
the error code indicates.
