Prosel is good, but it prints each file and its characteristics (size, type,
cre/mod dates, times) as a single line. If you want those items separated (as
in a database) use TimeOut File Librarian by Randy Brandt. It requires
AppleWorks 3.0 or later. It brings the file catalog (all subdirectories) into
an AppleWorks data base.
TimeOut File Librarian can be found on TimeOut PowerPack (AppleWorks 3) or
DeskTools 4 (AppleWorks 4 and 5). The AppleWorks 5 version has a Y2K bug which
