What do I do next?

Hi,

I just found an apple IIe in someones basement, and I got it to see what I
could do with it.  I have never used any mac or apple computer, and the IIe
was around before I was around...I couldn't find any program disks but found
that I can download disk images off the web.  How can I find a way to run
these if I don't have a 5.25 drive on my pc to put the images onto?  I know
that I can always find the real thing for sale somewhere, but just wondered
if there were any other ways.

Also, what program do I need to program it with basic?
