Just Got IIGS.....HELP!

I just received my IIgs in the mail, but I have no software for it. . .
nothing, All I can do is boot to a BASIC
"]" prompt.  I am aware of the various methods that there is to get stuff
onto Disks, but they all require some kind of software on the GS to begin
with.  I do not have one single disk (all I have is a box of 100 blank 5.25
disks.

Without anything at all, where do I start?  Do I need to get the system
disks to be able to do anything?  Is there any hope for me?  I have been
anxious to get started with this, but I seem to be at a standstill.

I have a Mac, Null Modem cable etc etc, but I do not even remotley know
where to begin.  I am confused by the faqs.  If anyone can give me a hand I
would greatly appreciate it
