It won't be dirty fingers or your slot setting since the TranswarpGS will
function just fine even if it's not in a slot and just lying on top of the
motherboard. A dead battery won't cause you to lose your TranswarpGS
control panel but could the battery have been installed backwards? I have
no idea what reversing the batteries polarity would do and don't really
want to try that experiment with a TWGS. Did you remove the TWGS
when changing the battery? If so, did you unplug the TWGS ribbon cable
from the card or from the computer?
