Re: need help

Take your question to a mac group or PC, unless this somehow has something to do with the Apple II.

Somehow I doubt this has anything to do with the apple ii, since apple ii computers can't use airport so far as I am aware. In fact, I believe the only "standard" networking available is localtalk and the lance/gs card for ether. (yes, I know there were MANY proprietary nets - corvus,
schoolbus, etc)

We get REAL sick of Mac question here. This is not the place for Mac questions. It is an APPLE II group.

Do you even know the difference between Apple II and Apple Macintosh?

Im signing up for DSL service tommorow, in addition to buying a 14.1' iBook
(my first Mac).

My problem is that I have 2 other PC desktops in my house, along with 2 PC
laptops.

I have been told that AirPort can work with PCs...Is this true?

If it is, do I need a certain type of wireless network card for the PCs?

Im not too well-read with DSL as well.

Do I need a router, in order to work with the Airport?

Does the DSL plug right into the Airport?

Im not trying to create a file-sharing network...I just want the DSL to be
on all of the computers.

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Im having trouble finding some
answers.
