Almost DEFINITELY the flyback.

Not expensive, but ya need to solder to replace it, and there is the 
whole anode discharge issue (BRRZZZAAAAAAP!!!!!!)

Don't ry to fix it yourself unless ya know what you are doing - could 
get a NASTY shock even with the monitor unplugged from power!!!
