I remember when I first bought my PC transporter card, my IIGS system
started to overheat, and all I had in it at the time was the PCT, the
origional Apple 1mb memory expansion card, and the colorswitch card. WHat
would happen was the system would start crashing frequently, like every 5
or 10 minutes or doing weird things, as well as the case being rather warm
to the touch. When I installed a fan, the crashes, etc mysteriously
disappeared. This was heat, not power, but you mentioned no internal fan.
