Indeed, they have.  ;-(

But this, too, is just a pendulum swing.  The professor did deliver
his lecture, after getting out from under the empty threats of the
MPAA.  As more people realize how their fair use rights have been
compromised by Congress, the pendulum will swing back.

The DMCA is _real_ "corporate welfare".
