yes, I totally understand what you mean, however at this time, i'm in
"Alpha Testing" mode, which is a private list. If you're going to be
an Alpha tester, you're going to be emailing me your feedback anyway,
so the anonymity thing becomes moot.

Once I'm feature complete, i'll post the public betas on lazilong.com.
Then if some enterprising user puts them up on other public sites,
that's great. Do you think people will avoid my website cuz they're
afraid of being logged? I can assure you the only thing I log is the
number of downloads. I don't even know how to extract any other info
actually. :-/ Really I'm a web novice, as far as serving goes,
witness my use of PageMill. Do you think it would help if I posted my
privacy policy? for the record, here it is:

I assert I will NEVER reveal, disclose, transmit, copy, or otherwise
transfer ANY information about ANYbody who emails me, visits my
websites, or otherwise communicates with me in any form whatsoever.
Furthermore, I will never spam, EVER, with the broadest possible
interpretation of the word "spam". In fact, I will limit my use of
any and all gathered information to exactly one specific use: I will
email the private list of "Alpha" testers with updates on ADFS ONLY,
until such time as the project goes BETA, at which point I will throw
away the list, and make all announcements in the public forums.

how's that?
