I'm surprised that of all the answers posted, no one mentioned the primary
compiler used to produce IIGS programs.
While there is no C++ compiler, there is Orca C, which is a C compiler
for the IIGS with full support for GS/OS and the IIGS Toolbox. This is
one of the few options if you plan to write authentic IIGS programs
which function in 16-bit mode under GS/OS utilizing the IIGS Toolbox
as Apple intended.
