I suspect that what happened around here was that a lot of the
schools which were using Apple II+'s and IIe's decided to
get IIgs's late in the 80's to replace their II+'s. Then recently
the schools in the past two or three years have decided to
dump them on the used market in favor of PC's and Mac's.
