I've still had no luck with random number exchange, but I have found the
problem with Cleat Text Passwords. I've patched my Appleshare CDEV to fix
it.
Apple made the Mac client case-insensitive, but not the Apple II side.
AFP 2 specs "Cleartxt Passwrd" or "Randnum Exchange", well the GS CDEV
only looks for "Cleartxt passwrd" or "Randnum exchange"
This may also apply to those of you using WNT/W2K Servers
(as opposed to PCMacLan which uses "ClearTxt passwrd" )
For those of you with Macs, It helped that I found a utility that would
report AppleShare Server Information
