Thanks. I upgraded my older IIe with the processor, and rom chips
as you suggested. It seems to work. I get the "Apple //e" on the screen
when I turn it on now. That is the enhanced ROM message right?
The other motherboard looks trashed. There are a couple places
where the parts look a bit corroded and/or rusted. I don't know
if I would trust it. However, I removed the good stuff and I will
junk the rest. The case bottom is rusting out. I don't know where
it was stored but it wasn't a kind environment.
