That's probably true: I at least didn't test it to the failure point. Since you can only have a flat (root) directory, it doesn't make sense to dump everything imaginable into one pile and pick from there. It's not really practical. So, unless/until a subdirectory structure becomes part of the image-choosing scheme, a reasonable scheme would be to keep only your first couple hundred favorite disk images on a stick at a time. ;-)
