If memory serves, VPN communicate happens over not TCP or UDP but Protocol
50 and another crazy protocol.  So, someone would have to implement those
protocols for the GS and then write the VPN client software.  Note that
information travels encrypted over a VPN connection, so the GS would have to
do all the encrypting/decrypting.  I doubt that even a Transwarp'd,
overclocked GS running at 20MHz could do that fast enough to be useful
beyond console Internet applications.
