>Ah, that's right! Mark, the man with the golden network. :)
Nah, Bart's is the Golden network, mine is just a cheap imitation by
comparasin :)
Also Bart knows his network stuff, I'm just a novice.

On the PC I have used a couple of versions of Intel EtherExpress PRO/10+ ISA
cards that I have used successfully. Most have AUI, TPE and BNC all on the
same card. I just use the BNC because I don't want a hub, and I prefer to
run a coax from one PC to the next, rather than running all cables to a
central hub. This reduces the amount of cable a bit if the computers are
spread everywhere. Same as the AppleTalk method, daisy chain from one
computer to the next.
On my Mac Q605 I have the standard ethernet card fitted, whatever that is.
The one that comes with it. It has an AAUI port and then I have a 10Base2
transceiver connected to that.
I have started a drawing of my network (and non-networked computers), so I
can put it up on the web, but drawing all those darn computers is taking
time.
Most people I know prefer to use the UTP cable with RJ45's connected to a
central hub. I don't know what advantage there is, but I can't think of any.
