Where is the Localtalk Bridge software? Is this automatically installed
when you install the OS or do I have to get it from somewhere?

Not exactly the same on Windows. Windows internet connection
sharing only works if you have a dial up access. I have a proxy
server because it is an ethernet connection to the internet via
a cable modem. The ip address 192.168.0.1 is specifically
reserved for a proxy server. DHCP is an automatically configured
network. The DHCP server assigns each pc on the network an
IP address. This is how most ISP's work these days since static
IP's are not common. My ISP doesn't even require you to set
up a DNS server since that is handled by DHCP.
