Does anyone know what monitors the AE Colorlink is intended to work with? It
has two outputs, one came with an adapter for an IBM CGA/EGA style DB9
connector and the second header on the card is intended for an "Apple" monitor
- the manual is no more explicit than that! I do not have the adapter for the
15-pin, but sat down and built what I believe is the correct setup to bring
out to a DB15F. I cannot get display on either output, unfortunately.
Have tried a CGA adapter normally used with a Tandy CoCo (9-pin plug) and the
Highway converter used with a IIgs (15-pin, with external 12V supply to switch
the adapter into external video mode).
Looking at the circuitry, I'm thinking the 9-pin output is TTL level and the
15-pin is analog video (uses a couple of driver transistors). It's possible
that I did not figure the pinout properly, I suppose.
If anyone with a ColorLink has time to take an ohmmeter to the 15-pin cable,
I'd like to verify the wiring.
