Erm, and what do you think I do?  Yes: I also have a whole list of
attribution lines attached to newsgroups (I don't even have to
manually switch them out).  I also have a little tag "%g", which gets
replaced by the name of the group I am posting from.  The above
therefore, somewhat predictably, looks like this:

On %d, %r (of %g "fame")
wibbled on for an age:

Yes, I *could* change it for individual messages.  I *could* change
the entire thing.  But I can't be arsed.
