This is an Apple II forum and not a Macintosh forum.
However, what kind of Mac do you use? A older Mac 68k
machine with the old 800k format can't be read on the newer
iMac's which use USB external drives which only read 1.44 meg
formats. If it is a Mac with an internal drive, I don't know why
it wouldn't be able to read an 800k floppy. It should be able
to read 800k and 1.44 meg formats.
