Speaking of BBS's...

I just read a post from Ernest about setting up a BBS.

Did anyone else out there run a BBS on their Apple II+/e/c/GS in the "old
days"? I had an Apple IIe with 4 5.25" floppy drives running GBBS software.
It was called "The Apple Worm Pit". I ran it out of my house when I was in
7th and 8th grade. I remember thinking I was such a stud for having 4 whole
floppy drives! What drive space! Haha. Ah the good old days. If anyone has
GBBS, email me, would you? I remember how fun that was to code in. It was
like Applesoft Basic without line numbers.

I also remember a few binary files I used to play on my IIe. One was called
"Spy's Demise". That was one of the first ones I ever had, along withTaxMan
(I think, it was a Pac-Man takeoff) and Temple of Apshai, an Ultima-like
came that you could ctrl-c out of. hehe. I wonder if Spy's Demise is deep
inside one of the images at Asimov's place.

I'm so excited to have rejoined the Apple II world. I feel horrible for
leaving it back in 1990. :(
