I just read a post from Ernest about setting up a BBS.

Did anyone else out there run a BBS on their Apple II+/e/c/GS in the "old
days"? I had an Apple IIe with 4 5.25" floppy drives running GBBS software.
It was called "The Apple Worm Pit". I ran it out of my house when I was in
7th and 8th grade. I remember thinking I was such a stud for having 4 whole
floppy drives! What drive space! Haha. Ah the good old days. If anyone has
GBBS, email me, would you? I remember how fun that was to code in. It was
like Applesoft Basic without line numbers.

Yes, I still run one.  I put it online in 1987 and it has
been up since.  Not many calles, but since I bought
the right to GBBS to keep in from getting flushed
down, I have kept it up for support for systems that
are still online and for the few people who still like
to call local systems and play the games.
