The scan rate for the IIgs is something around 17.5 mhz and the Mac
and PC uses much higher Scan rates.  The resolution of the IIgs is
also only 640 x 200 at max.  The Mac and PC is 640 x 480 at min.
I think the reason is that the IIgs was designed based on the old
composite video scan rates of the mid-80's.

The Mac with ADB and IIgs can share mice and keyboards but
not with the PC since most use PS/2 ports.  There might also
be other differences such as processors/buffers in the keyboards
and signal differences.
