I use Zmodem terminal program and a 8-pin din to 9-pin serial
cable to the PC. I have created a /RAM5 volume under the control
panel to be 800k so that I can transfer files directly to memory.
Then using ShrinkitGS I can unpack the files back to a 3.5" disk.
However, lately, I use my Mac Classic II as a file server and pass
files back and forth to my IIgs. The Mac Classic II can also read
and write ProDOS formatted disk as well as read/write to MS-DOS
disks. Nice way to transfer files. You might want to consider getting
a used Mac to help transfer files. I got mine at a thrift store for under
$10.
