I think HFS supports volumes up to 2 gig. You have to format it
under GS/OS since ProDOS won't recognize it.
I have a 210 meg HD on a RamFAST SCSI card and I have
seven 30 meg ProDOS partitions loaded on it. I haven't tried HFS
since there doesn't seem to be any advantages in using it except
to support a large final partition. There are people in the group that
have 1 gig and larger HD's on their IIgs's which are formatted
using HFS.
