Nope, IBM and Moto are NOT the PC industry.  Intel and
AMD and all of Taiwan are the PC industry.  PowerPC
will never command the investment needed to keep pace
with the mainstream.

Apple DID try licensing MacOS to clone (Mac) makers, and
had ports of MacOS to the standard Intel x86 boxes at one
time.  But they chickened out--of BOTH clone markets!
