Which particular Linux "interface" are you referring to?
Free clue: Linux doesn't have any one single interface into which a web
browser can be integrated, unlike some other OSes. Similar things apply
to many Unix derivations/clones/flavours etc. Given the open-source GPL
nature of the Linux, it would be nigh on impossible to integrate
something in a manner such that it couldn't be unintegrated and, in many
ways, Linux is essentially the kernel and helper apps. The interface is
virtually entirely customisable, since all the kernel hooks are well
documented and available to all.
