What would this person do with this computer? TTY? Games? 
Drawing? Educational stuff? You need to find software that
is applicable to the situation first, then buy the computer 
it runs on. More specific information is needed if real help 
is provided.
Otherwise this thread will look just like a flamewar, and
you wouldn't want that, would you?
