Is it possible to create a network with a windows pc and an mac system ?
If it is can somebody tell me wich hub i have to use ?
Thomas
A couple of points before I get directly to the answer. You should ask
this question in a Mac group not an Apple// group. There *is* a
difference in the machines. After all the Apple// paid for the
development of the Macintosh and predates it by a number of years.
Groups to look for would contain "mac" in the title. For example
comp.sys.mac.*, comp.mac.*, or comp.os.mac.*.
To answer your question... Yes it is possible. If you are using an
ethernet LAN with 10BaseT cable (Cat 5) the hub is simply a standard
ethernet hub. This is what I use. If you are thinking about Appletalk
then I can't help.
Later
