GS finder shortcuts?

hi - read throught the shortcuts file on the systools2 disk, but could find
the following: is there a way to open a directory in the finder (6.0.1
ofcourse) and have the new window open in the same window - rather than the
usual new window for the new directory.

with the small desktop space, it gets very cluttered fast going through
folders. Is there a patch, or something, that lets you hold a key (or better
yet change the default) to open each directory in a single window.
