Hi c.s.a2 again!
Does anyone know what the latest/current versions of ProDOS 8 and ProDOS
Basic are?
I have the following info:
------
Apple II
ProDOS 8 V2.0.3 06-May-93
PRODOS BASIC 1.5
COPYRIGHT APPLE 1983-92
------
Are these the 'current' versions? I'm curious about this because I glanced
over at my Apple //e a few weeks ago and thought it would be fun to use it
again. I still have to tap the right side of it a few times to boot up, I
suspect the 8mhz zip chip might have been loose?, but sure enough it comes
up.
Another reason for this post is due to my AE Serial Pro card. I set the
correct time/date via in#1, then <tab> to get into the configuration
screen. I set it to:
YEAR: 01
MONTH: 07
DAY: 13
WEEKDAY: FRIDAY
HOUR, MINUTE, SECOND appropriately.
I load aeclk.system (dated 1992 i think, although on the ClockWorks
Utility Disk Version 3.2 from AE, the aeclk.system file is dated 1987) but
if I save a file it is dated 13-JUL-96, instead of 13-JUL-01 I would
assume?
Was there ever a y2k patch specifically needed for the AE Serial Pro card?
Thanks for any help.
p.s. I hope I followed proper netiquette. It has been 4+ years I have been
on usenet, and quite a bit longer than that since I posted a message ;)
Some of you might remember me though.
