Yeah... Think "obvious monopoly" and "anti-trust laws". That, and the
fact that Bill simply makes nice money from making Mac programs, and
that he's always looked to Apple for 'inspiration'.

Wrong. A lot of people cared, but not about Commodore the company and
its antics, rather the engineering team and the artefacts they churned
out over the years. Countless companies have tried to keep these alive
by now (although not with lots of success).
