I bought an Apple 2e yesterday with a Duo Disk, monitor and about 100 disks.
I have a few questions that I did not find in the FAQ..
1) What is the switch underneath the apple 2e is for? I tried it in both
positions at various stages of running and it doesnt seem to do anything...
2) Is there anywhere to download any manuals for the Apple 2e, or software
manuals/books?
3) I figure the reset button should reset the computer to save swithching it
on & off at the back when swapping disks. It does not seem to do anything
when pressed, although the Control+Apple+Apple+reset DOES perform the system
test as documented in the FAQ.
4) How do I connect my Pentium to the Apple 2e for file transfers? What are
the pinouts for a null modem cable, and how do I connect it up?
Thanks,
Brian
