That last sentence sounds a tad biased against Apple though.....
I mean, the 68K Macs haven't been built and sold since 1994/1995 and of
course the older Power Macs won't exactly be relevant in this day and age
either...it's 2001, not 1996 or 1997.

I mean, when I had trouble with my 1992 purchased Dell 320SX (386) system
in 1997, I phoned up Dell support and they couldn't find anyone who knew
hide nor hair of my system at their help support desk. Their suggestion
was to replace the computer with a brand new Dell system.

I ended up finding the problem on my own...the clock battery burst and
ended up leaking on my PS/2 mouse controller chips on the motherboard,
disabling the PS/2 mouse connector all together (and sometimes causing
erratic behaviour on the PS/2 keyboard as well as those chips were right
beside the mouse chips on the motherboard).

I ended up tradeing the Dell system for an Apple IIgs.
