Rob, mine was an unenhanced //e that had two disk ][ drives, a Monitor
///, Epson MX-80F/T printer, and a Saturn Systems 128K RAM card
installed when I got it. Over the 7 years I owned it (May '88 - June
'95), I added a CH Products FlightStick, upgraded the system with the
IIgs upgrade kit, purchased when the expansion card bus was fried,
thanks to two chips on the Saturn board, added a GS-RAM Ultra RAM card
with 1MB of RAM installed, replaced the original Epson printer with an
ImageWriter II when I also purchased a Mac Plus, and, at one time
actually used it on AOHELL when I was still a member. But, alas, I was
running out of room and had purchased a Mac IIsi 5/80, so the IIgs had
to go. Sold it, minus the mouse and the 3.5 drives to a guy in
Mitchellville, IA for $150.

That was the last time I really fiddled around with an Apple II, at
least, until January of this year, when I traded a Mac SE, and some
other Mac parts for an enhanced //e with two disk ][ drives, Kensington
System Saver, and a Monitor //. In the next two months after that, I
picked up a SuperSerial card to run the IWII with, an AppleMouse //e
with card, still in box, another enhanced //e CPU with the early
keyboard, which I find I prefer, a couple more disk ][ drives, a Laser
UDC card with two Apple 3.5 Drives, CH Products FlightStick, and a IIgs CPU.

Recently, I've done some upgrading on the IIgs and now have it up to
the usual 1.25MB of RAM, dual fans (one inside, one in the System Saver
IIgs that I got off eBay), 12" RGB monitor, Apple Extended Keyboard (the
original), two disk ]['s, two Apple 3.5 drives, and hope to add a HD,
and some more RAM to it, so I can run a full version of GS/OS 6.01 on
it. The first enhanced //e I got currently has an unenhanced board in
it, since one of the ROMs died, and is attached to a DuoDisk and the
Monitor //. I also have a spare //e that has the board from the
aforementioned enhanced //e in it and is waiting for another board to
arrive for it to be put back together and maybe put into use either by
me, or a friend of mine.
