Heck, maybe I should grab one next time. (Of course now I'll never see
another.) Mac stuff doesn't thrill me all that much. Still, too bad
there wasn't an easy way to convert these for use on a //c (At least for
dummies like me anyway.)
I think the reason there may be so much old Mac stuff around here,
relatively speaking, is because the next town over, Arcata, CA, is home
to Humboldt State University, which I believe was heavily into Macs back
in the Eighties. (When I was attending in '94-'96 they still had a Mac
lab--real Macs, B&W screens and all! Though I can't recall exactly which
model.) The bookstore there also sold/sells them. This Mac emphasis may
have trickled down to the local schools as well.
Then maybe not, but that's the only explanation I can think of.
Just wish there was more A2 stuff around here.
