Well, maybe if I was in Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, or Lansing
it might be easier but I am in blue collar Flint which is not
a Mac strong hold. I was always the odd ball in town since
I had Mac stuff. It made finding hardware add-ons and
software difficult. I normally had to mail order such things
for my computer. When I lived in New England, there were
several Mac only stores I used to shop at in Framingham
and Worcester Mass. It probably helps being in a college
town. Macs are not common in the larger more industrial
towns around here due to the PC Windows dominance
and mindset of the Auto industry. The local colleges in
Flint use mostly PC based stuff. When I was at Western
Michigan in the late 80's, we had a room full of Mac Plus's
to work on. They were always busy but the PC labs always
had a few systems available to use.
