Why are you unpacking them on the PC? The Mac uses
forked files which the PC won't understand. Maybe that
is the source of the problem? Try using Stuffit on the Mac
and not the PC.

OK, I admit it, I'm a MacDummy. It's been over 12 years since I used a
Mac.
I have installed TransMac in my PC, hooked up the Mac drive to my SCSI
card
and everything is fine. I can copy files, etc. I also have Stuffit
Expander
for Windows. So I'm downloading all these Mac files in .hqx format,
Stuffit
expands them just fine, I copy them to the Mac drive, put the drive back
in
the Mac, and the files all appear as documents, not applications. Mac is
running System 6.0.3. I'm TRYING to get it updated to 7.0.1.
What, may I ask, am I doing wrong?
