I picked up an Apple LaserWriter Pro 600 at a surplus sale. I've cleaned it up and it'll print, but there's a problem I hope someone in the group has seen before and can provide a solution to. Sometimes, the printed page will not fully eject. At the bottom of the page, it looks as if it had been wound around a pencil. There's a definite accordion fold to the paper at the bottom. It was worse before I got inside and found that a piece of paper had been fused to a roller. Getting that off helped a lot. But, there's still a single"groove" about two inches from the bottom of the printed page. What am I missing? Thanks for any help,Bill
Looks as though it is a problem with an obstruction with the path of the paper. If I read it right the current problem is a final single fold of the paper at the bottom? Since it is a single fold it maybe it occurs near the end of the process. If it occured near the start of the process there might be some printing on the folded area. I would look near the area where the pages are ejected after passing through the toner cartridge.
I thought the LaserWriter didn't work on Apple// machines. Mind if I ask how you got it working?
