I've got a full Apple //c system and a small home LAN (including Win98 box, Linux server, and a networked Mac iici). Just for amusement, I'm curious whether it's possible to network the Apple //c somehow into my environment. As I understand it, it's possible to run a TCP/IP stack on a //gs (that won't help me here). But I'm wondering if it's possible to network my //c via the Mac iici (serial connection, apple talk?). Anyone ever do this sort of thing before? -Paul Bramscher brams006@tc.umn.edu
You could always pick up a null modem cable and use the //c as a terminal to the Linux box. Grab a term program somewhere and you can transfer files with ZMODEM. Naturally you'll need a spare serial port (which are cheap).
