The problem is the GS-RAM is incompatible with the ROM 3. It'll work just
fine in a ROM 0 or 1 though. A number of AE memory cards needed different
PALs or GALs for use in a ROM 3 or ROM 1. I don't believe they ever made
them for the GS-RAM.
A fully populated GS-RAM holds 1.5mb. Add that to the memory in a ROM 3 and
you get about half a mb less than the ROM three thinks it has with that card
in it. A pity AE didn't follow Apples guidlines in this area.
