I had the same setup as you before my Focus 500MB HDD was confirmed dead a
few days ago. R.I.P.
Anyway, I had no problems running Hypercard from the HDD. If I remember
correctly, and I do this time :), Hypercard was pre-installed on the HDD
from Alltech.
My system is/was a ROM1. 8MB Sirrius RAM. Focus 500MB IBM drive with IBM ROM
on the interface. I did not have the patched HFS.FST installed. I'm fairly
certain the new focus cdev was not installed at the time, but the Focus
driver definately was. And, Tool034 is in the Tools folder, but I don't have
GUPP xyz, whatever that is.
