Hello everyone,
Next to my Mac I have a //e sitting on my desk (see .sig) which has not
been switched on in years :-(.
It has 2 Disk IIs, a UniDisk 3.5" and an AMR 3.5" drive attached to it.
Inside I have a Meg 80Z 1-MB 80-col. card, a Thunderclock card and the
other usual cards. If I remember correctly I used AppleWorks 3.0 -- then I
transferred all AppleWorks files to my Mac, which was then an LC III under
System 7.1.
Forgive me if these have already been answered in some FAQ, but here are
my questions:
i) Is there a card to hang a //e onto an AppleTalk network? Or would I
have to use floppies to transfer files between my two machines?
ii) Is there a clock/calendar card which remembers the year, so that you
do not need a new ProDOS patch every so many years?
iii) Where can Apple II merchandise still be had, this side of the
Atlantic?
If these questions have been answered before, pointers to relevant FAQs
would be duly appreciated. Who knows, if the card meant in (ii) is
available, it might just bring my //e back to life again :-).
I look forward to your insights.
Sincerely,
--
