"REDRAW" command to redraw the drawing
I was looking at a friends "teksoft" book (computer aided drafting/
computer aided machining).. Teksoft runs on PC pentiums.
Some of the commands don't properly update the drawing. If you choose
to ERASE an item that has something drawn underneith it, the item
gets erased as well as part of the item underneith. So if you want
to see what your drawing looks like after you ERASE, you have to click
"redraw". All that speed on those chips and the lazy programmers
didn't automatically refresh the screen. That is crap.
I have the CAD and plotting parts of the PCB software running %100
the way I want them to. You can lay out a board and print it up
easily and quickly.
the latest I got to work: Layer 4, reference lines.
Now I want bells and sirens. screw the whistles.
I'll be working on the following the next few days:
1)when you move the cursor over a hole/trace end, you can select
it and "drag" it to a new spot (need assembly to do comparisons
with all the X's and Y's)
2)auto-route. I have this working but not the way I want it to.
3)work on the simulator and figure out how to import a drawing
from the CAD program into it.
4)Connect the traces to the holes/pads so when you move an IC, the
traces move with it.
This program has come together really quickly and I am very
pleased with the results.
What other features shall I add?
