Re: Apple IIgs not recognizing 3.5 drives



I don't know if this applies or not but my IIgs was having
a similar problem with the Unidisk 3.5 drive.  I would
format it for Prodos and install the boot files on it.  I
would turn if off and come back later and it wouldn't
boot.  I tried reformatting and same thing happened.
I opened up the disk drive and checked all the internal
connections and found a couple loose.  I haven't had
problems since then.
