I can't wait longer because I had an OS crash recovery system
with the old drive.  If the OS crashed, it would automatically recover
by saving RAM, resetting, and running recovery code.

It wont do it with the new drive because power is cut during the RESET
and the recover code cannot be loaded off the drive.
